Launch week for the Jet Propelled team is April 11th.

Starting on April 16 through to May 27th businesses and individuals are welcome to participate on their own 5 days. We can’t wait to see what you do!

The Day 1 Challenge focuses on self-love. We challenge everyone, on their day 1 to fill their cup first.

Here is a list of suggestions to help you determine how you will fill your own cup first. How you fill your cup is unique to you.

Ideas to Fill Your Cup

  1. Do a hobby that you love
  2. Try a new hobby
  3. Go for a walk
  4. Call a friend
  5. Read for pleasure
  6. Draw or paint
  7. Sit outside
  8. Do Yoga/ Meditate
  9. Try a restaurant you have never tried before
  10. Put on makeup(nice clothes/do your hair etc), even if you plan to stay home
  11. Go to church
  12. Give someone a hug
  13. Order dessert
  14. Garden
  15. Plant flowers
  16. Take a bike ride
  17. Take a nap
  18. Sleep in
  19. Cook a nice meal
  20. Learn Something New
 
This year more than ever we all need to be uplifted; before we uplift and impact help others we must help ourselves.

Your options are only limited by your imagination. Your contribution could be as simple As writing reviews for your favourite local spot, writing a thank you card for our frontline healthcare workers or even a $25 donation to any of the organizations that support our community. In previous years we have seen clothing, toy, and bottle drives. Blood donations, food donations and community clean up. Think about what you(and your team) are comfortable with and strive to make it happen. Your support will uplift those around you. Giving back is contagious, like a smile is infectious!

We provide a list of some of these organizations on this site. Beyond that, we encourage everyone to give back in ways that are meaningful to them. Is there an interesting or creative way that you can leverage your time, talent, or treasures? You have the opportunity to contribute in any way that you can. Every effort, big and small, is helpful.

Do what you(and your team) feel comfortable doing. With the best interest of everyone in our community and the world, stay within your comfort zone and think creatively on ways that you can make a difference. There are a multitude of different ways that you would be able to show your support in ways that keep everyone safe.
